Project Description

Sant Girvés de
La Torre, s. XI

Sant Girvés de La Torre is a basilical structure church with three naves covered with semicircular barrel vaults. The round arch in the door retains the threshold with the opening and closing smooth and without ornamentation traces that have lost the original eaves, except the apses where highly damaged fragments of the decoration are preserved, formed by a frieze of Lombard arches.

The church was moved from its original place during the construction of the Rialb Dam.
