Project Description

Sant Jaume de
Sant Cristòfol
de la Donzell, s. XI

The church of Sant Cristòfol is the center of the small group of abandoned houses in the village of Sant Cristòfol, that is located between the right bank of the river Rialb and the road that goes from Gualter to Folquer and Tremp. At the junction of El Puig and Sant Cristofol on the right hand side of the road you will find the road that leads to Sant Cristófol (4km).

This Romanesque church was built at the end of the 11th century and at the beginning of the 12th century and can be considered practically in ruins, but it preserves enough elements to capture the original architectural quality, posed with great ambition.
